The question of who is responsible for the payment of the national team coaches seemed to dominate the proceedings on Saturday as one of the Board members of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF,  Honourable Nse Udofot Essien was on hot seat, in the number one leading Sports Platform in Nigeria, Sports World .


 The administrators -filled rendezvous show tagged Super Interview was co- anchored by Ibadan based sports and CEO varblogspot.com journalist,*Sunday Agunbiade (Mr VAR)* and popular Lagos based journalist *Wale Oye* wherein the Chairman FC one Rocket disclaimed the views of some people that the Federation shamelessly shifted their oversight responsibility to the Federal Government as against FIFA standards


The special Adviser to Akwa Ibom State Governor on Sports development was quizzed on the issue of Super Eagles Head Coach coach José Peseiro's salary and contract,including why the Sports ministry will pay the Portuguese gaffer,and not the Nigeria Football Federation.

The cerebral leader and club owner said that the NFF did not shift their responsibility in any way,but the Ministry of Sports insisted on taking over the payment.

In his submission, he chided the erroneous believe that the NFF dodged its responsibility shifting it to the supervising Ministry. 



"The NFF has not shifted it's responsibilities as far as the remuneration of the coaches are concerned. What happened in the case of Peseiro was that; the Sports Ministry said they would be the ones to pay his salaries,it was an obligation for them to fulfil,but they didn't"

He continued;

"Fortunately, the new Sports minister, Senator John Owan Enoh who is doing tremendously well, and not forgetting the president who has done excellently well,His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,who has ensured that the back log of salaries owed Paseiro would be paid"


"As for our coaches,we pay them,we don't shift responsibility,the administrator sounded
