Best Talent Boss, Adeyinka Adeyemo Felicitates Muslims, Harps on the life of Sacrifice.


  
Chairman of Best Talent Football Club of Mowe, Mr Adeyinka Adeyemo, has rejoiced and felicitated with Muslims across Nigeria and the world on the occasion of  Eid-el-Kabir celebration.


In his goodwill message, the lanky ex footballer noted that the Sallah festival symbolizes love, sacrifice to mankind.

Adeyemo , however enjoined Muslim faithfuls to continue to pray for peaceful co-existence and progress in Nigeria, and see to the better security arrangements across the length and breath of the country. 

He use the occasion to call on Football regulators to be more alive in their responsibilities, particularly on the officiating, security and fans coordination at stadia in line with global best practices. 

In his words: "On behalf of the entire Management and staff of Best Talent Football Club, I wish to heartily rejoice with muslim faithfuls on the occasion of Eid -el Kabir celebration. This is a season of sacrifice and love for mankind as withessed by Almighty Allah ".

He added: "Nigeria will continue to attain greater Football status if the regulators could rise to their responsibility and check the menace of officiating, hooliganism and unsportmanlike activities across the leagues and deviance of which is met with more stringent penalties."

Three referees in Nigeria have been sanctioned for offences related to  improper handling of matches assigned to them.  In week 8 matches of the NPFL, three of the referees who handled two different matches have been suspended indefinitely by the NFF Referees Committee.  While Mohammed B Tuta of Adamawa and Benue's Ben Japhet, Referee and Assistant Referee 1, respectively of the Kano Pillars vs Shooting Stars game were punished for what the NFF Referees Committee accused them of "acting in manners outside the provisions of the laws of the game and brings the game into disrepute", the letter signed by the  Committee secretary, Ameenu Mohammed indicated that the Nassarawa against Rangers referee, Ikechukwu Taiwo of Rivers State was sanctioned for awarding "unjustified penalty" awarded. The three referees were suspended indefinitely.

The two time CAF Champions League holders defeated their visitors 2-0 but it appeared that the result did not go down well with the Sporting Director due to the fact that the coach did not yield to his substitution directives during the first half of the match. At the first half, our correspondent scooped that the Sporting Director at the end of the first half pushed the coach and followed him inside the dressing room and then punched him. Monday Odigie is Yet to Sign official Contract with Bayelsa United But...

By: Sunday Agunbiade (Mr VAR) Former Bendel Insurance head coach, Monday Odigie, has not signed a dotted line with Bayelsa United therefore, he has no contractual poweŕ to resign as it's being rumoured.  Odigie who was reported to have hit the ground running immediately after he was called to thinker the Prosperity Boys anticipated a much accelerated contractual deal but the bureaucratic bottleneck from the Management to the Governor led to the slow pace of action in finalising the deal . While a source disclosed that the Edo born gaffer departed the club after losing back to back games against Niger Tornadoes and Enyimba FC of Aba, another source hinted that what the club offered fell below par and he got pissed off.
