2026 NLO One: Best Talent Sets Sights on Patriot FC Scalp in Crucial tie

All is now set for the electrifying game as Best Talent Football Club of Mowe is poised to consolidate on the gains recorded in the ongoing Nationwide League One as it books a date against Patriot FC tomorrow,  Saturday, 2nd May, 2026 at MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The Match Day 3 showdown in the Nationwide League One (NLO) will pair one of the leading Nigeria third tier teams squares off against arch-rivals Patriot FC at the iconic Stadium. 

Still basking on the euphoria of winning streak against H2U and Customs FC, the Adeyinka Adeyemo's boys are determined to build on the  momentum and remains firmly glued to top spot.

Under the guidance of head coach Farouk Yusuf, Best Talent FC will be gunning for a vital win that could catapult them into contention at the top of the group, depending on other results at the Centre.

After starting their campaign with a 7-0 triumph over H2U FC and humbled Customs FC 2-0, the team now faces a litmus test against a spirited Patriot FC side. Coach Yusuf remains confident and has called on supporters to stand by the team during this pivotal encounter.

“We are fully ready to come to the party tomorrow against Patriot FC as we are ready to dig deeper for positive results ” he said. “We are resolved to make things better for our fans… It’s going to be another scintillating encounter, and we need their maximum support.”

Club officials, including General Manager Sikiru Ibrahim (SK) and Team Manager, Ebifemi Omosebi echoed the coach’s optimism. “Our boys are aware of what is at stake. We are prepared to face Patriot FC with untainted optimism". Ibrahim stated.

As the anticipation builds, the stage is set for a fierce battle under the afternoon sun. With both teams chasing glory, fans are in for a thrilling spectacle at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
