Kwara Queens Target Champions Rise Scalp as FUOYE Dazzlers Face Ebira Queens in First Lady Pre-Season Opener




Kwara United Queens Football Club of Ilorin will lock horns with Champions Rise in the headline fixture of the opening day of the Kwara First Lady Pre-Season Championship.


The 12-team invitational women’s football tournament is scheduled to kick off on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the George Innih Stadium, Ilorin.

The clash between Kwara United Queens and Champions Rise is expected to deliver a thrilling local derby, with both sides set to showcase their skills, passion, and determination in front of home supporters.

Other fixtures lined up for the opening day promise equally exciting encounters. FUOYE Dazzlers will take on Ebira Queens of Kogi State, while Model Queens battle Moje Queens. 

In another anticipated showdown, Dynamite Queens will face Apex Angels in what is expected to be a pulsating contest.

Beyond the competition, the championship aims to promote unity, foster growth, provide exposure, and celebrate the development of women’s football across the country.

Top dignitaries in the state and across the country are expected to grace the opening ceremony.

Model Queens vs Moje Queens – 8:00am

Dynamite Queens vs Apex Angels – 9:40am

FUOYE Dazzlers vs Ebira Queens – 11:20am

Kwara United Queens vs Champions Rise – 3:00pm (Opening Ceremony) in

Wazbak Queens and Unilorin Queens will observe a bye in the opening round.
