Double Header Victories: Best Talent thrash H2U FC 7-0 in NLO, Spank Dove FC 1-0 in Redemption Tourney



Best Talent Football Club of Mowe today, Saturday, 18th April, 2026 demonstrsted uncommon winning formular in the ongoing Nationwide League One defeated H2U FC with 7 unreplied goals and spanked the hard fighting Dove FC 1-0 in the Annual Redemption City Football Tournament held at Mowe and MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta respectively.

The coincidiced competitions nearly unsettled Coach Farouk Yusuf led technical team  as he strived to dig deep on the technical aptitude of the two foes deploying players to prosecute the games at different venues at times. 


While Redemption City tourney held at 12 noon today against Dove FC , the Nationwide League One opening match held at 4pm .

The Adeyinka Adeyemo's boys continue to show high intensity and strong attacking performances in both ties even when they were reduced to 10 men against Dove FC in the Redemption Tourney, they still managed to grind a good result with their strong mentality and great football artistry. 


It would be recalled that this appears to be a close range marging when the integrity side decimated Browl F.A of Lagos 6-0 in December, 2025, where Basauye scored four goals.

Speaking shortly after the game, former Coca-Cola Coach , Farouk posited that his side were determined to make their fans happy and assured that they will not allow the results to go into their head as they have other battle ahead, particularly, the Customs FC. 

"I give God the glory. I have no any secret but I give glory to Almighty God and appreciate my boys for grinding this result. This winning, no doubt is a confidence booster for us, and we will take it up from there,' said the grassroot exponent.

Also speaking,  the General Manager of Best Talent FC, Sikiru Ibrahim, expressed confidence in his team, stating that the boys are ready to face any ambitious opponent in the subsequent games. "We are not unaware of other teams in our group, but we are ready to take up any side." Sk enthusiastically sounded.

The next game will be against Custom FC at Mko Abiola Stadium next week Saturday

The two time CAF Champions League holders defeated their visitors 2-0 but it appeared that the result did not go down well with the Sporting Director due to the fact that the coach did not yield to his substitution directives during the first half of the match. At the first half, our correspondent scooped that the Sporting Director at the end of the first half pushed the coach and followed him inside the dressing room and then punched him. Monday Odigie is Yet to Sign official Contract with Bayelsa United But...

While a source disclosed that the Edo born gaffer departed the club after losing back to back games against Niger Tornadoes and Enyimba FC of Aba, another source hinted that what the club offered fell below par and he got pissed off.
