2026 NLO One: Best Talent FC Disarm Customs SC at MKO Stadium
It was another clean bill of health for one of the leading Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO1), Best Talent FC of Mowe, today, 25th April, 2026 recorded a resounding 2-0 victory over Nigeria Customs Service Football Club at MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Best Talent FC wasted no time asserting dominance in the match, with Adeyinka Adeyemo’s boys taking the encounter far beyond their opponents but only settled for a goalless at half time. At a resumption of the second half, it took the Integrity side three minutes into an hour before the Mowe giants young star, Ajibade Azeez , found the back of the net while Dickson Donald double the lead with a triumphant victory at 67 minutes of the much publicised encounter.
Speaking after the match, Coach Farouk, who has become a prominent figure in grassroots football, was full of praises for his team’s performance but made it clear that there’s much more to come.
“The fans are yet to see the best of my boys.” he said confidently. “This is a team in progress, and we need to thread softly. What you guys witnessed today is only a glimpse of what we are building.”
Farouk, whose coaching résumé includes stints with Magate FC, Fackson Tofido, and Coca-Cola Junior School, has now led his side to 2 clean sheets in the ongoing Nationwide League One taking place at MKO Abiola Stadium centre. He decimated H2U 7-0 last week ,18th April, 2026. His tactical acumen was on full display, and he credited both his players and the club’s management for the continued success.
“I give big kudos to my players and the entire crew for doing a wonderful job today,” he said. “They all stuck to the instructions, internalized our tactical inputs. They neutralized the opposition right from the whistle, and I am very proud of them.”
Farouk also praised the club’s leadership and support staff, emphasizing the importance of teamwork both on and off the pitch.
“My Chairman is giving us massive support, and it's a propeller driving us to achieve these results. The entire management team, medical staff, and media crew are all instrumental in making this happen,” he noted. “Football is all about teamwork, and I hope we can continue to sustain and even increase the tempo.”
