NNL Reschedules Matches For Sallah Holiday



The board of Nigeria National League ( NNL) has announced the rescheduling of Weeks 13 and 15 of it's conferences to enable players and officials observe the forthcoming Salah holidays.


According to a press release  signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the second tier League, Danlami Alanana, and addressed to secretaries of all state football associations and clubs, the rescheduling of the matches became necessary because the Salah holidays coming up on the 20th-21st March, 2026, coincides with weekend matches of Week 13 of conferences C& D and week 15 of Conferences A& B.

The statement, noted that the matches have been moved to  mid- week of March, 25, 2026.

Meanwhile, some of the matches affected in Conference A are Sunshine Stars against Smart City, Inter Lagos versus Heartland, Edel Fc Versus Abia Comets and Crown Fc against Beyond Limits while Gateway Fc are  on Bye.

That of Conference B includes; First Bank Fc against Solution Fc, Osun Utd versus Stormers Fc, Sporting Lagos versus Rovers Fc, Godswill Akpabio against Akwa Utd and Ekiti Utd against Abakiliki Fc.

Also in Conference C, we have City Fc against Sokoto Utd, Lobi Stars and Kada Warriors, Doma Fc versus Mighty Jets and the match between Fc Basara and ABS.

That of Conference D includes; Adamawa Utd against Gombe Utd, Ranchers Bees versus Kebbi Utd and Jigawa Golden Stars against Bichi First Fc while Yobe Desert Stars are on Bye.
