Ex- D'Tigers Captain, Olumide Oyedeji to bury Mum, Felicia Omolayo April 10th

Former D'Tigers captain, Olumide Oyedeji is set to commit to mother earth her late mum, Deaconess Felicia Omolayo Moriyike on Friday, 10th April, 2026  in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. 


The burial arrangement was made available to newsmen by the former captain of the Nigeria's Senior Basketball team,  D'Tigers who doubles as the first African elected Secretary- General of the World Olympians Association, *Olumide Oyedeji*, who is the son of departed Matriarch. 

According to the release, the Christian Wake keep will hold at the Blood of Jesus Apostolic Church, Oke-Alafia, Jagun Bus stop, Old-Ife Road, Ibadan by 4:30pm with white and magenta, the colours of the day.

On Friday, 10th April, 2026,  lying in State at her residence by 7am -9am  while the Funeral Service will take place at the Blood of Jesus Apostolic Church, Oke -Anu, Akintola Road, Ekotedo, Ibadan by 10am and Internent follows at her residence. 


Reception of guest will hold at Sunlight Royal Event Centre, Ring Road, Ibadan. Champaigne Gold/Brown are the official colours of the day.

Late Deaconess Felicia Omolayo Moriyike Arike Oyedeji was aged 81 and 
may the soul of the departed matriarch rest in the bosom of the Lord,  amen.
