FOAOOOS Congratulates Christian Faithfuls On Christmas Celebration




Forum of Administrative Officers in the Civil Service of Oyo State has congratulated all christian faithfuls and particularly, Civil and Public Servants in the State. 


In her congratulatory message through the Forum's spokesman, Sunday Agunbiade (Mr VAR), the Chairman of the most noble cadre, *Mrs Adebiyi Olajumoke Aramide* noted that there are several reasons to celebrate this season, particularly, with great deal of influence and successes recorded in the outgoing year, saying the capacity building is noticeable in the Cadre coupled with the number of Permanent Secretaries added in the year under review


Adebiyi, also went ahead to admonish for peace, unity and renewed commitment to the true development and growth amongst the Civil/Public Servants in the state.


She then used the yuletide period to appreciate Her Honour, the Head of Service, *Chief Mrs Olubunmi Olufunke Oni, mni* for Her uncommon leadership in ensuring proper directives and accelerated growth. She extended the same modicum of praise to all members of Executives for their proactive ,figure saying that their contributions in achieving successes in the outgoing year was highly appreciated even as she assured that the Forum shall remain committed to the development of the elite Cadre

While praying for a warm and peaceful christmas celebrations, she added that the season should be a period of sober reflections and displaying of good virtues of Jesus Christ, by preaching peace and harmonious coexistence. She concluded.

Alleged Poor Officiating; Kano Pillars/3SC Match Officials Suspended, Nasarawa/Rangers Referee

Three referees in Nigeria have been sanctioned for offences related to  improper handling of matches assigned to them.  In week 8 matches of the NPFL, three of the referees who handled two different matches have been suspended indefinitely by the NFF Referees Committee.  While Mohammed B Tuta of Adamawa and Benue's Ben Japhet, Referee and Assistant Referee 1, respectively of the Kano Pillars vs Shooting Stars game were punished for what the NFF Referees Committee accused them of "acting in manners outside the provisions of the laws of the game and brings the game into disrepute", the letter signed by the  Committee secretary, Ameenu Mohammed indicated that the Nassarawa against Rangers referee, Ikechukwu Taiwo of Rivers State was sanctioned for awarding "unjustified penalty" awarded. The three referees were suspended indefinitely.

Shooting Stars unveil new signings, departed players

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, have confirmed the signing of eight fresh legs to beef up their squad for the second  round of the 2024/25 NPFL season.  A statement issued by the Media Officer of the club, Tosin Omojola, revelaed that the players were signed from both the NPFL and NNL sides.  Some of the new acquisions mentioned include, Sadiq Ibrahim, a sriker from Sunshine Stars,  Omoduemuke Moses, striker from Niger Tornadoes as well as midfielder Okorie Ekeson from Rangers International.  Others are midfielders Ukeme Williams from Miyansar Sport FC, Iraq, and Ephraim Nwachukwu from Osun United.  Meanwhile, the club also announced the drafting of upcoming player, Liuz David, a young professional player into the main team.  In the same vein, the club also announced the departure of eight players namely; Abubakar Aliu, Abbey Benson, Elum Henry, Hassane Sidibe, Bolaji Sakin,Uche Onwuasonanya, Fasanmi Olaniyi and Malachi Ohawume....
