Best Talent Football Club of Mowe today , maintain dominant display in the Nationwide League One pre season friendly after a narrow 1–0 victory against Bison FC at Onikan stadium, Lagos on Tuesday, 9th December, 2025.


Fehintola Abiola scored the decisive goal and thus leaves the Ogun State Football giants a serial winners in the South West region of Nigeria Football .

Adeyinka Adeyemo's boys now have 18 wins from 24 matches, lost 3 and drew 3 as Coach Farouk Yusuf is repositioning the club for upward drive. 

The win marks a stronger response after dispatching Team 360 FC at the Legacy pitch, Surulere Lagos few days ago.

The pre season tour embarked upon by the Ogun State Football outfit affords the coaching crew to explore different formations ahead of the forthcoming season. It's a league where every point is a battle, and strengthening the team with different tactics and churning out victories across states is more than statistics; it’s a statement of intent in the long storm of a title race.

Alleged Poor Officiating; Kano Pillars/3SC Match Officials Suspended, Nasarawa/Rangers Referee

Three referees in Nigeria have been sanctioned for offences related to  improper handling of matches assigned to them.  In week 8 matches of the NPFL, three of the referees who handled two different matches have been suspended indefinitely by the NFF Referees Committee.  While Mohammed B Tuta of Adamawa and Benue's Ben Japhet, Referee and Assistant Referee 1, respectively of the Kano Pillars vs Shooting Stars game were punished for what the NFF Referees Committee accused them of "acting in manners outside the provisions of the laws of the game and brings the game into disrepute", the letter signed by the  Committee secretary, Ameenu Mohammed indicated that the Nassarawa against Rangers referee, Ikechukwu Taiwo of Rivers State was sanctioned for awarding "unjustified penalty" awarded. The three referees were suspended indefinitely.

Shooting Stars unveil new signings, departed players

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, have confirmed the signing of eight fresh legs to beef up their squad for the second  round of the 2024/25 NPFL season.  A statement issued by the Media Officer of the club, Tosin Omojola, revelaed that the players were signed from both the NPFL and NNL sides.  Some of the new acquisions mentioned include, Sadiq Ibrahim, a sriker from Sunshine Stars,  Omoduemuke Moses, striker from Niger Tornadoes as well as midfielder Okorie Ekeson from Rangers International.  Others are midfielders Ukeme Williams from Miyansar Sport FC, Iraq, and Ephraim Nwachukwu from Osun United.  Meanwhile, the club also announced the drafting of upcoming player, Liuz David, a young professional player into the main team.  In the same vein, the club also announced the departure of eight players namely; Abubakar Aliu, Abbey Benson, Elum Henry, Hassane Sidibe, Bolaji Sakin,Uche Onwuasonanya, Fasanmi Olaniyi and Malachi Ohawume....
