Powerblink One-Day Tournament: Celebrating Grassroots Football Development On October 1st



In commemoration of Nigeria's Independence Day, PowerBlink Venture/Football Club hosted a thrilling one-day tournament on October 1st, bringing together talented young footballers from Ibeju Lekki and surrounding areas.


The tournament, which featured teams in various age categories (Under 10, Under 13, and Under 15), was a resounding success, with participating teams showcasing exceptional skill, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

Shooting Stars declare two players AWOL

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, have declared two of their players Victor Ehibe and Abubakar Adeyemi  absent without official leave (AWOL). A statement by the club's Media Officer, Tosin Omojola, explained that the duo  have suddenly absconded from the team without any official notice. "We wish to inform the public of the sudden disappearance of two of  our players, Victor Ehibe and Abubakar Adeyemi. "While Abubakar Adeyemi has not shown up for training for sometime, Victor  Ehibe recently left the club's camp, packing all his belongings without any official notice," said the 3SC spokesman in the statement. Furthermore, the release  stated that the two players have running contracts with the Oluyole Warriors, hence, they have no right to leave without officially informing the club of their whereabouts. Shooting Stars unveil new signings, departed players

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, have confirmed the signing of eight fresh legs to beef up their squad for the second  round of the 2024/25 NPFL season.  A statement issued by the Media Officer of the club, Tosin Omojola, revelaed that the players were signed from both the NPFL and NNL sides.  Some of the new acquisions mentioned include, Sadiq Ibrahim, a sriker from Sunshine Stars,  Omoduemuke Moses, striker from Niger Tornadoes as well as midfielder Okorie Ekeson from Rangers International.  Others are midfielders Ukeme Williams from Miyansar Sport FC, Iraq, and Ephraim Nwachukwu from Osun United.  Meanwhile, the club also announced the drafting of upcoming player, Liuz David, a young professional player into the main team.  In the same vein, the club also announced the departure of eight players namely; Abubakar Aliu, Abbey Benson, Elum Henry, Hassane Sidibe, Bolaji Sakin,Uche Onwuasonanya, Fasanmi Olaniyi and Malachi Ohawume....
