Best Talent Went Ruthless in a 4-1 Win Over Achievers FC



Best Talent Football Club of Mowe were ruthless in their statement 4-1 win against Achievers Football Club in the ongoing CY Unity Cup taking place at Joju School 3, Sango Ota, Ogun State, on Thursday, 2nd October, 2025


The convincing victory ignited their statement of intent in the forthcoming season as they showed a clinical performance after previous struggles with efficiency and finishing away from home. This demonstration of a "ruthless mentality" was called for by Coach Farouk Yusuf led technical team and saw his team displayed a vintage, free-flowing attack that secured significant victories in the competition.

It was two goals in each half from Mowe side as Michael and Chamberlain made it count for Adeyinka Adeyemo's boys at 9 and 11 minutes of the game while Jamiu and Gabriel completed the rout at 51 and 71 minutes respectively. This condemned Achievers FC helplessly stranded but confined to a consolatory goal at 79 minutes of the game. 


Both sides made wholesale substitutions almost immediately after the consolatory goal from Achievers FC which only made the game more exciting as the substitutes added bite, but the Mowe giants fought to earn a deserved win.

Speaking with journalists after the game, Best Talent handler, Farouk Yusuf, expressed joy over the attitude of his boys. He said that his players were initially nervous due to an unconvincing 1-0 win recorded on Tuesday but he psyched them to have a renewed mentality to execute a new game plan .

" What played out today is that two games can never be the same. My boys were worry with 1-0 victory recorded on Tuesday losing countless scoring opportunities but I let them realise that complexion and attitude of the players are symbiotic in grinding desired results . My boys interpreted the game plans well with internalized energy and it paid off at the end of the game"
