Nigeria Table Tennis Technical & Players Representatives Cry Out for Help: Appeal to NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko to Intervene in Election Manipulation Allegations"

The Petition:

*"We, the contestants and representatives of the Technical and Players of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF), bring to your attention grave concerns regarding the upcoming election, which we believe will be manipulated through unconstitutional means

*The leadership's attempt to alter the electoral process to allow unrestricted voting, without approval from state sports commission chairmen/Directors of Sports, undermines the integrity of the election*

*Historically, our elections have been transparent and peaceful, with two representatives from each state, including the FCT, participating with approval letters from state sports directors or chairmen of the commission*

*This practice, aligned with global standards, ensures credible representation*

*However, the current leadership's plan to hold the election in Lagos on September 10th, without adherence to established protocols, raises serious concerns about the credibility of the election, which will lead to manipulation*

*We urge Chairman Shehu Dikko of the National Sports Commission to intervene, investigate, and ensure the election follows established practices*

*Specifically, we request*

*1. The election be held in Abuja under proper supervision*

*2.The voting process adheres to the traditional method of two approved representatives per state and the FCT, with a signed letter from either the Chairman of the Sports Commission or the State Director of Sports*

*We have submitted a petition to your office in Abuja, dated August 27, 2025, and was received on August 28, 2025 by the commission*

*We look forward to your favorable intervention*

*Signed, Anonymously*
