Shooting Stars Kick off league Season with Road Parade

The Management of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, has announced the road parade initiative to kick-start the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League season. 


The newly appointed Chairman who is a son of renowned football administrator, Lekan Salami , Honourable Taiwo Lekan Salami made this known on Wednesday that they intend to usher in the new season by further strengthening the bond of the club with their teeming fans. According to the release, he brought out the list of high flying areas to be paraded as the new league seaon approaches. They include:

Road parade route:

Adamasingba, Dugbe, Ring road, Challenge, Molete, Beere, Eleta academy, Yemetu, Total Garden, Gate, Secretariat,  Bodija, UI, Ojoo, Sango, Mokola, Sabo


The road parade starts from 12 pm today Tuesday 19th August, 2025.

Watch out for your stars and supporters along the mentioned routes between 12 pm and 4 pm  today....

Shooting Stars declare two players AWOL

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, have declared two of their players Victor Ehibe and Abubakar Adeyemi  absent without official leave (AWOL). A statement by the club's Media Officer, Tosin Omojola, explained that the duo  have suddenly absconded from the team without any official notice. "We wish to inform the public of the sudden disappearance of two of  our players, Victor Ehibe and Abubakar Adeyemi. "While Abubakar Adeyemi has not shown up for training for sometime, Victor  Ehibe recently left the club's camp, packing all his belongings without any official notice," said the 3SC spokesman in the statement. Furthermore, the release  stated that the two players have running contracts with the Oluyole Warriors, hence, they have no right to leave without officially informing the club of their whereabouts. Shooting Stars unveil new signings, departed players

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, have confirmed the signing of eight fresh legs to beef up their squad for the second  round of the 2024/25 NPFL season.  A statement issued by the Media Officer of the club, Tosin Omojola, revelaed that the players were signed from both the NPFL and NNL sides.  Some of the new acquisions mentioned include, Sadiq Ibrahim, a sriker from Sunshine Stars,  Omoduemuke Moses, striker from Niger Tornadoes as well as midfielder Okorie Ekeson from Rangers International.  Others are midfielders Ukeme Williams from Miyansar Sport FC, Iraq, and Ephraim Nwachukwu from Osun United.  Meanwhile, the club also announced the drafting of upcoming player, Liuz David, a young professional player into the main team.  In the same vein, the club also announced the departure of eight players namely; Abubakar Aliu, Abbey Benson, Elum Henry, Hassane Sidibe, Bolaji Sakin,Uche Onwuasonanya, Fasanmi Olaniyi and Malachi Ohawume....
