Federation Cup: Edo FA to hold draws/ Media Parley January 29th 2025



The Edo state Football Association has fixed  Wednesday January 29th 2025 for the draws/ Media Parley  of the FA Cup competition in the state.

According to the chairman of the Apex Football body in Edo state, Fred Newton Erhunmwunse, the event is scheduled to take place on , Wednesday January 29th, at the media centre of the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium, in Benin City by 12 Noon, while  all participating teams are to send  two persons each to represent them at the ceremony.


The Edo FA boss disclose that the ceremony will also witnessed the unveiling of  Peculiar ultimate concern  as the new sponsor of the 2025  Edo FA Cup competition.


"the  draws for the  2025 Edo FA cup/ Media Parley will now hold on Wednesday January 29th, 2025  at the media centre of the Samuel ogbemudia stadium, the registered teams should take note, and we shall also introduce our new sponsors that day to the teams, we have asked the register teams for the competition  to send two officials to the ceremony that will begin by 12noon,  Erhunmwunse stated.


24 male teams and 6 women teams will compete in the Edo FA cup this year, schedule to kick off Wednesday February 5th and climax Sunday  February 23rd 2025 as directed by the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF)


Bendel insurance Fc and Edo Queens are the defending champions of the Edo FA Cup.
