Ekwueme Lauds Chairman, Kanu Over Enyimba's Early Trip For CAFCC In Egypt



Enyimba'a Chairman, Kanu Papilo' Nwankwo has been commended for his administrative dexterity and resolve to make Enyimba great.


The commendation is coming at the heels of his instance for the teams smooth and early preparations ahead of Enyimba's first group match in this seasons CAF Confederations Cup game against Al Masry SC in Ismaili, Egypt on Wednesday November 27th, 2024.

Reacting to Enyimba Media shortly before the teams departure for Egypt on Sunday afternoon, the club's Sporting Director, Ifeanyi Ekwueme thanked the club Chairman for ensuring that the team had a good and concentrated preparations in Uyo were they had a good feel of a grass turf, something similar to were they will play against Al Masry in Egypt.


He noted that the Chairman also approved the players outstanding bonuses as well as working tirelessly to ensure that the team lands in Egypt three days before the encounter for acclamatization.

He however thanked the club partners, United Nigeria Airlines for providing local air trip to Abuja even with a short notice.

Ekwueme who expressed confidence in the players ability for a successful outing noted that the Chairman and the Management pulled all these strings to further motivate the team for a good outing and continue to give Enyimba and Nigerian League the image it deserves at the continent and Internationally.


"The management under Kanu Nwankwo has shown and is always willing to go extra mile to ensure that players and the club gets the best of treatment.

"We value our players and their commitment to our mission, hence the decision to ensure we make all necessary arrangements to attract a good and positive outing in these group stage and the rest of the competition", the former Super Eagle player concluded.
