The Management of Enyimba football club of Aba under the leadership of Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo and the Sporting Director Mr Ifeanyi Ekwueme deserves praises for grabbing a ticket to play the  caf confederation cup.



The former champions of the NPFL Enyimba fc of Aba picked one of the tickets to represent Nigeria again after a convincing 2-0 win over Plateau united of Jo's at the jam-packed Enyimba fc staduim Aba with goals from Chijioke Mbaoma and Alade Balogun to finally grab the ticket.


After the match some of the fans who came to watch the game expressed their happiness for such an opportunity to access the gates for free after the Enyimba fc management under Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo made it possible for fans to come out and cheer their darling team to Victory.




Some of the fans spoke positively about the idea of Enyimba fc management.

" I came here with my family to watch Enyimba fc play for the first time this year and I was shocked with the crowd and the atmosphere was something different unlike it used to be in the past I will be here again to watch and cheer the people's elephant.

" This is how the atmosphere used to be when we won the caf champions league back to back and if the current leadership of Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo and others keep it this way the fans will return back to filled up the stadium."

Enyimba football club despite the difficult times during the season still put up a gallant fight to pick up a caf confederation cup ticket.


Enyimba football club finished third on the NPFL log with 63 points from 38 matches played.
