Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Oyo State Chapter Sets to launch Operation No License, No Practice, May 29

It is a new dawn in Oyo state where quacks and uncertified coaches will have no alternative than to to look for another job before they land themselves in trouble as it is now a crime for any individual or group of people to traing or gather players without proper certification ond registeration with the NFCA, Oyo State Chapter.
This is the submission of the Chairman, Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Oyo State Chapter, Coach Akinola Olatunji while speaking with newsmen at Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
The erudite talent developers, Olatunji , while briefing newsmen in Ibadan, read a riot act that whosoever that is found training or gathering players without registering with the state Association under the Nigeria Football Coaches Association will be severally dealt with in line with extant laws guiding the administration of the Coaches Association.
Speaking ahead of the launching, the grassroots Football proponent said: "We the Executives of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association (Oyo State Chapter), an affiliate of Oyo State Football Association/Nigeria Football Federation, Abuja wish to inform the general public that the Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Oyo State Chapter is the only regulatory body registered with CAC . The body which cuts across the 33 Local Government in the state has over 1,394 members saddled to with the responsibilities to enhance Football development in the country.
"We can unequivocally inform you that the Association has a *Uniform Identity Card* which distinguishes us from quacks and in a bid to consolidate on this, we are going to issue all registered coaches with *Operational License* to enable us regulate and sanitize the body in our dear state."
He added: "Consequently, we will launch, unveil and ussue Operational License for all qualified Coaches in all the 33 Local Government councils in the state on Wednesday, 29th May, 2024 by 10am at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan to allow them operate as a certified football coaches. This no doubt will save our children that intend to play football from the quack coaches to get it right from the scratch. Whoever is found practicing anywhere in the state without the license will not like to tell the story thereafter ". Akinola visibly warned
