NLO 24 at Shagamu Centre: Best Talent Roar Past Custom FC in 7 goal thriller, Move Top of the Table

Match Day 2 fixture today between BestTalent and Custom FC ended 5-2 in favour of Mowe outfit at Ebedei Stadium, Shagamu, Ogun State 


The match which was preceded by exciting anticipation lived up to its billing as Match Day one goal opener ,Azeez Tijani put his side in front at 13'. Same margin of time, he doubled the lead making it 2-0 at 26 minutes of encounter. The lanky striker got a brace for his side just as he did with a goal less against Olumo United two days earlier making his goal chart stands at 3


Custom FC fought back with a goal making it 2-1 but was met with a quick reaction from Busayo Ojo of Best Talent that resultantly pegged the result at 3-1 . Much after,  Ibrahim Matiti  made it 4 before the Custom FC forward reduced the margin to pegged the game 4-2 at half time. 


At the resumption, Matiti put another one past the opponent's reach that earned him another brace having replicated same in the first game against Olumo United.and made the full time result 5-2. The score chat for Ibrahim Adeosun (Matiti) as at Match Day 2 stands at 4 While Azeez Tijani scored 2 goals today and a goal in the first game making it 3 for his record 

As it stands, Best Talent Football Club of Mowe has recorded 12 goals in the ongoing 2024 Nationwide League One games at Shagamu Centre leading the pack in the zone with 6 points +10 goal difference.

The coach of the victorious side, who is also a former Shooting Stars assistant coach, Yinka Popoola (Gullit) saluted his boys for their dominant display and charged them to remain focused in their quest for the ticket
