NLO 2024: Dino FC Hold High Flying Best Talent to a 2-2 Draw in Shagamu

It was a 90 minutes full of great football artistry, grit, skills and mesmerizing display between Dino FC and table topping Best Talent FC at Ebedei Stadium, Shagamu Centre, Ogun State on match day 3 encounter in the Nation wide leagur 1 where the two teams share the spoils 2-2. 


Best Talent FC Technical Adviser, Coach Yinka Popoola Gullit started the third tier sojourn well having seen his side netted 12 goals conceding 2 goals in the first two games . He could however not be able to keep faith with the starting line up in the previous encounter having lost 5 of his starter at the medical room.

Even with the short fall, the Mowe outfit were in fron at the 8 minutes of action through Ojo Busayo while Azeez Tijani doubled the lead at the 35 minutes of action with a quick response from Dino FC forward at the 37 minutes.

The second half was full of drama and a disappointing goalkeeping error was a greatest undoing to the Best Talent as goalkeeper surrender the driving seat to the cheap equalizing goal. They couldn't get the job done with all the substitutions made. 

Today, Saturday, is the resting day while day 4 continues tomorrow at the NLO Playoff at Shagamu Centre.

POST MATCH REACTION

Speaking to Best Talent FC Media after the game, the former Shooting Stars Assistant Coach, Yinka Popoola Gullit said:

" I give God the glory and I appreciate my boys for their relentless efforts even with injury worries. The injury affected my 5 starters and this affected my game plan but all in all,  I acknowledge them and give thanks to God. The job is still not yet done and the top spot not yet fully gone. We still have quite number of matches to make things up and return to the summit "

Coach Gullit added:

" I think I have absolute confidence in my boys, if the officiating will be fair, my boys know what is at stake and they will complete the Job in subsequent matches, God's willing".
