Finidi's Recommendation on Eagles Job: Nigerians Blast Pinnick, Ask him to let NFF breathe
By: Sunday Agunbiade (Mr VAR)
Reactions have continued to trail the recommendation of former Super Eagles winger, Finidi George by the immediate past President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Mr Amaju Melvin Pinnick who was of the views that the Enyimba FC coach has technical know how to take take over the affairs of the Senior national team.
According to the video of the interview posted by the Lagos based journalist, Tobi Adepoju, some toxic and unprintable reactions were targeted against the FIFA council member who had 8 years to do whatever he wanted to do in the office but still believes he can exert his influence on any decision left for his successor, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau.
Those toxic and hate submissions from the critical stakeholders appear too toxic and demarkatable factor for the former Ajax winger.
Here are the fews comments hereunder:
You single handle destroyed Nigeria league and Nigeria 🇳🇬 national team by yourself now you’re talking rubbish. I am sorry for Nigeria 🇳🇬... Kalu Orji.
My preference remains a good foreign coach but if we are to go indigenous as things are presently and for smooth transition, I'd strongly agree with Amaju's position.... Tope Fowowe.
If he has shame left he should just focus on his comedy business... Mark Acheneje.
He should allow the current leadership of the NFF necessary time to carefully select the best option for the country. When he is in charge, nobody dares to suggest anything for him because he believes he knows best, dismissing any suggestion as a waste of time. Granting this type of interview is unnecessary and unwarranted. Malam Farouk Yarma.
He was the former NFF president, why didn't he employ the indigenous coach then... Makanjuola Adeolu.
Someone (Finidi) that you couldn't give a contract as an assistant coach during your leadership. None of the indigenous coaches was given a professional contract during his leadership. Eye service!... Amb Henry O Abiodun.
Nonsense talk... Cosmos Chukwuemeka Akisi..
Picnick should still be on a picnic. Like, who cares about his opinions? He should offer them to the marines!... Jimmy Carto.
Senseless talk. Those who interviewed this man are culpable too. Let the current leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation decide their choice as they will be responsible for their decision....Sunday Agunbiade
Don't take glory or blame for the outcome. Enough of Amaju Melvin Pinnick making decisions for the NFF... Sunday
