Drafting of National team Coaches into NPFL teams playing in the continent will improve performances... Professor Collins Obioma

Worried by the 19 years title hiatusvin the content , a Board member and legal adviser of Enyimba FC of Aba, Professor (Barrister) Obioma Collins has suggested that drafting of national team coaches into NPFL team representing the country in the continent is one of the ways in helping clubs to dethrone the North Africa teams dominating the CAF club competitions. 


The University lecturer and Head of Department in Abia State University made the suggestion in the leading WhatsApp group in Nigeria, *Sports World Platform* on Saturday during Super Interview. According to legal luminary, he said:

"First of all , I think to end the19 years trophyless  predicament ,Nigerian clubs need to give full support to every club representing the country".

He further suggested that drafting of national team coaches once in a while in critical stages will help the club massively. 

"Once in a while drafting in the national team coach to help special and critical stages to help all these clubs" He noted..

Prof. Collins also reiterated that, organizing more competitive competition for these clubs will further, noting that the more competition played the more competent and fitted for the task ahead. 

A soft spoken administrator,  avowed that, NPFL must also insists on standard practices and providing training facilities in terms of administration as most clubs are getting it wrong. 

He enjoined and advised NPFL to mandate it for every team to have good facilities and to ensure a better league in checking into officiating. 

The legal practitioner cum lecturer, also reflected that, the league body must also look into on the issues of home grown players by giving them a chance in the national teams as this will give them more confidence. 


He urged the NPFL to ensure clubs maximizing profits by using the money they make on players to improve their facilities. 

Professor Obioma Collins submitted that, NPFL should have a way in assisting a club in resulting their dispute and to ensure the resolution of the dispute are done in very impartial manner.
