 Best Talent Football Club of Mowe, Ogun State today annihilated their counterparts, Lasegski 9-0 in Match Day 4 of the ongoing Nationwide League One at the Shagamu Centre .


Having succumbed 2-0 lead against Dino FC in the last match due to injury that affected 5 regular starters, the situation that resultantly pegged the scoreline to a 2-2 draw at regulation time, the Club Chairman, Adeyinka Adeyemo charged the team not to allow the human errors committed in their match to affect the outcome of their subsequent matches. 


Today, the Coaching crew led by Coach Yinka Popoola Gullit and four of the injured players returned to the starting line up with a 9 unreplied goals against Lasegski FC

4 goals from Abdullahi Abubakry put a sour taste on their opponents while one of the team leading scorers, Tijani Azeez was on hatrick and the duo of Adeosun Ibrahim and Balogun Samson complete the massacre with a goal each.

The second match of the day between the host team, FC Ebedei and Dino FC ended goaless, a situation that catapaulted Best Talent into the top of the log with 2 points gap

As it stands, Best Talent remains in the driving seat with 10 points +19 goal difference, while FC Ebedei maintains second spot on the log with 8 points +8 goal difference and Dino FC in third position with same number of points(8) but with lesser goals (5 goal  difference). Others are BFUT FC which is in 4th position with 7 points while Juvenile FC, Customs,  Olumo FC occupy 5th, 6th and 7th position on the log respectively. 


On Wednesday, 1st May, 2024, attention will shift to Match Day 5 of the Nationwide league as BFUT play host to table topping Best Talent FC by 4pm.
