NFF Will Train Nigerian Referees on the use of VAR, Communication Gadgets and Go Line Technology... Hon. Nse Udofot

It was another 120 minutes of superb engagement and revealing moments in one of the Nigeria's leading Sports WhatsApp group, *Sports World Platform* on Saturday as: *Sunday Agunbiade popularly known as Mr VAR* and *Sports Ville Sports producer, Wale Oyekanmi* played host to a Board Member of Nigeria Football Federation representing South South region, Honourable Nse Udofot Essien on the recent exclusion of Nigerian referees from the just concluded African Cup of Nations held in Ivory Coast. He was also quizzed on abysmal performance of Nigerian clubs in the continental showpiece. 


Indomitable as Honourable Nse Udofot is fondly called is the only Board member who invested in a club called FC One Rocket in the Board of the Nigeria Football Federation said that the present NFF Board led by Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau was not happy with the exclusion of Nigerian football referees and he's putting every machinery in place to ensure the Nigeria Football arbiters are trained on modern day technology. According to the astute graduate of English Language and MSC in Environment and Development Planning with PHD in view, said


"On the issue of VAR and advance technology, the President has promised that our referees are going to be trained on it, consultation are going on with CAF and FIFA to ensure our men are at par with their colleagues in global best practices "

He also used the occasion to lend his voice on n why our best teams in the league struggle on continental assignments, Honourable Nse said:

"When you don't have true Champions, why won't you struggle? That is why it is always important to allow a better team to win in every football match. When you have true representative from the Nigeria League then, our performance will improve in the continent. 


"Thankfully, there is great improvement in our league now like I have said earlier on this session. Big thanks to Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye (Chairman NPFL Board) , Mr George Aluo, Chairman, Nigeria National League, NNL and leaders of the other leagues for doing a great job in building the image of our league through good officiating and instant sanction of erring ones". He concluded
