Gulf United FC donates sports equipment to Nigeria school.



Dubai based Gulf  United football Club donated  two sets of jersey and balls to Uratta Secondary School in Owerri North Local Govt , Imo State. The presentation was made by one of the partners , Veteran Sports Journalist Paul Ogazi at the School compound  in Owerri . Paul Ogazi , one time presenter , producer and commentator on NTA sports said Gulf United FC   with one of the coaches Marcello Anyawu who also double as an old boy of the school, believes in football & Education,catching them young and supporting lads at the grassroot 
The  Principal of the School  Rose Ngoka  who was   very excited said the students will be motivated in their studies and football


This is not just a positive PR for Gulf United FC but presents them as a global socially responsible organization. 

On your part,  Marcello, you've just demonstrated your commitment to the development of Grassroot football. By beginning at your Alma Mater, you have demonstrated that we are to put our money where are mouth is. "" Says Okenze Ralph Njoku- Obi PRO Imo State University and native of Owalla Uratta Owerri -North LGA


It could recalled that in 2021 The Dubai based club was in  Nigeria for a football showcase talent hunt which took place in Abuja and Lagos

Present at the  occasion were the National President General Uratta Development Association Engr Stanley Ukaga , PRO IMO State University Okenze  Raph Njoku obi , old boys of the school Barr Ezekiel Opara and Chief Gilbert Oparauwakwe .
