Katsina United Crisis: Will Interim Management Be Validated By League Body




According to the news emanating from the camp of Nigeria Premier Football League side, Katsina United, it appears that the club is doing everything within its means to render the League Management rule book to naught .



It would be recalled that the recognized chairman by NPFL, Alhaji Surajo Baba Malumfashi led board registered the club for the ongoing season with Coach Bolus as the Technical Adviser of the team . However, the immediate past Commissioner used his political will to truncate the ethical principles of the league by installing his stooges as Interim Committee to oversee the affairs of the club without recouse to club licensing registration procedures domiciled with the NFF


Stakeholders however showered encomiums on Elegbeleye led NPFL Board for not allowing the recently appointed Coach Abubakar Bala to stand on the touchline in their match day 14 fixture against Bendel Insurance where the former won the match with one nil against the host at Muhammed Dikko Stadium. 


One of the questions wagging in the mouth of the followers of the league is; will NPFL contradict itself on what they had declared illegal?


Will the present NPFL board go the way of their predecessor by creating unholy precedence in the adminiatration of the league?


Why is Elegbeleye led NPFL Board finding it difficult to come out openly on the status of Katsina United and explain its position on the nomenclature that has no place in the extant laws guiding the administration of the league?


Why has the League Board who had hitherto declared the interim committee illegal and unequivocally clear that it will not recognize it until it reverts to club licensing registration procedures still quiet
