Ahmed Musa Calls for Government Support for Ex-Players

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has urged the Federal Government to address the challenges faced by retired football players in Nigeria. Musa emphasized that many ex-players are living in poverty and need assistance from the government.

During the launch of the ‘Let’s Do It Again’ campaign, Musa stressed that only a few players earned substantial money during their active careers and that the glamor associated with the game often led to overspending.

He called for more support and appreciation for retired players who dedicated their youth to serving the country. The campaign aims to rally support for the Super Eagles in their quest to win the Africa Cup of Nations next year.
