Adekunle Mojeed Tevez 90th minute screamer gave Crown FC first 3pts on the Road in the new season

It was an entertaining afternoon in the match day 2 of the 2023/2024 NNL season as International Lagos host Crown FC of Ogbomoso inside the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Lagos yesterday

The first half which was eventful saw the host take the lead through Favour Aroyameh in the 26th minute. The Coach Raheem Tajudeen led side did everything to equalize in the first half but all plans went abortive as Rasheed and Sanni couldn't go pass the Lagos Goal keeper.

The Second half was full of excellent performance from the goal keeper of Crown FC Onwuga who was making is full debut after team number one Belema got injured in the match day one game of the season with FC One Rocket.  Onwuga performance kept the score line at 1-0 for most of the second half.

It took Crown FC up to the 85th minute before midfield General Folarin Temitope equalized for Crown FC from a corner kick well taken by Ogunjobi Kamoru who now has two assist to his name.

In the 90th minute it was a moment of magic from former Ogbomoso United winger Adekunle Mojeed Tevez that gave Crown FC the lead for the first time in the game and a goal that could win it for Crown FC.

In the additional minutes Inter Lagos thought they have equalized but the goal was ruled offside by the Assistant Referee to ensure Crown FC returns to Ogbomoso with the maximum 3pts.

The Olamide Ilupeju Ortega boys are now with 6pts after back to back wins and will now focus on their next home game against Gateway FC, who defeated them in the first game of last season.
