Adamimogo FC Celebrates one year Anniversary In Grandstyle


It was a joyous and exciting moment at the Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain (GMPM), Adamimogo Jesus city at the Alaro City.Lekki -Epe Expressway on Sunday (yesterday) 27th August ,2023, where Adamimogo Football Club of Akure celebrated her one year inauguration.


 During the Thanksgiving, the founder of the club and the General overseer of the Ministry , Prophet Sam Olu Alo, showered praises and prayers on the team and her sister team, Best Talent Football Club of Mowe, The man of God once again showed who he is and what God called him for to contribute positively in people's lives, especially youths with talents and helping them to achieve their dreams. 


Having launched the Club in August, 2022, the Akure based outfit kickstarted its journey in third tier of Nigeria football league NLO1 for the 1st time and qualified from the group to go for play off wherein it lost to Osun United, another team that has been in the business for like couple of decades.

 Progressively, the team emerged finalist in the State FA Cup (Aiteo cup), played against Sunshine Stars of Akure, another side that plays in top flight of Nigeria league(NPFL) and lost . The team eventually went on to play off as a representative from Ondo State, and played against another top team in the NPFL, Shooting stars Sport club but lost narrowly 3-4 at Onikan stadium.


 In his words, the Prophet encouraged the players to do more this upcoming season and ensure they get the ticket to NNL. He further charged them to give better performances of themselves in all the competitions they may engage in . He thereafter shower cash rewards to both teams according to their performances last season and individuals also were also rewarded. The individual award goes to the goalkeeper and highest goal scorers in both teams and promised more if they do the needful. 

He then wrapped it up by thanking all the Executives  and Administration of both teams for their effort, and gave accolades to the Matron of the team, Mama Odusina for being there for the team everytime she is being called upon. He charged individual, businesses and corporate organisations to come around for support and sponsorship, so as to encourage and promote these future talents and make them achieve their lofty dream.


Both teams will be having training game between each other at Best Talent Football Club training ground at Redemption camp ground. Car park C mowe on Monday 28th August, 2023  at 8am after which the team will be headed back to their base in Akure.
