FC Witikon Promotes Nigerian Born Coach, Adedeji Adeyemi to First Team.

 It was a celebration galore for Nigerians living in Switzerland as a former Stationery Stores of Lagos forward, Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony was promoted by his club, FC Witikon to the first team 2 liga as 1st Assistant Coach. 


Adeyemi, who recently penned a deal as Head Coach of FC Witikon in third league has barely spent 5 months in charge of the team with unparalleled impacts.

Speaking with Sunday Agunbiade popularly known as Mr VAR, the former Brila FM pundit expressed joy on his elevation within the little time spent with the club. According to him;

"What a great news of promotion from my base here in Switzerland! My club FC Witikon has promoted me to our first team 2liga as 1st Assistant Coach .This means that I will start with 2 liga come next season 2023/24 from summer .  It would be recalled that I was appointed the Head Coach of 3liga in December,2022 and now to the first team. This calls for celebrations".




The Lagos born tactician added that: "Mr VAR, I have been with the team doing my job for five months now , January this year. After seeing my hard work, training philosophy and model, they got sparked up and recommended me for greater responsibility. Aside that, my tactical inputs impacted and helped their junior and senior side achieving greater results. This just prompted them and they told me that they have no choice than to bring me up to the second league . That is how they promoted me to the second liga. To God be the glory. This calls for celebration!" He enthusiastically hinted

 
The former Stationery Stores player previously had coaching stints with FC Dubendorf and FC Kloten Frauen.


The 38-year-old, who has a UEFA B coaching license, once represented Nigeria at the U-17 and U-2O level.He won the 1998 FA Cup with Stationary Stores 


Anthony will be looking forward to consolidating on his technical prowess that earned him this accelerated promotion within 5 months
