Vote of No Confidence: NFF throws weight behind Pascal

By : Sunday Agunbiade (Mr VAR)

The Nigerian football federation (NFF) has thrown its weight behind the Chairman Bauchi State Football Association,Patrick Pascal.

It would be recalled that four members of the Bauchi FA had last month passed a vote of no confidence on Pascal, an ex international.

But the NFF in a letter to the Bauchi FA scribe dated 11th April stated that Pascal has done nothing wrong, even as it declared the vote of no confidence null and void.

NFF in the letter noted that the election conducted into the 20 local football council election followed due process and that the tenure of the incumbent board would expire June 14.

The NFF further directed Pascal to conduct a credible election on or before June 14 to pave way for the emergence of a new board.

It would be noted that Pascal had last month declared that his purported suspension was the handiwork of a few disgruntled elements.
