Oyo FA Boss, 3SC Chairman, Others Present SACF Cheque Scholarship To Beneficiary.

Chairman, Oyo State Football Association, Oba Alakinyele of Akinyele, HRM James Odeniran and Shooting Stars helmsman, Right Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan( Akoro) today 8th February 2023 presented the beneficiary of Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Foundation, Adeniran David and handed over the dummy check of a Hundred Thousand Naira ((#100,000.00)


The State Football Association entourage which has the former FIFA badged referee as number one man, and the Secretary, Mr Kehinde Ojelowo alongside the Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club, Honourable Olaniyan David Akoro and his Admin Secretary, Alhaji Rahman Olapade. While making the presentation to the S.S. 1 student from Oyo town noted that the purpose of handling over the lad to the Management of Ibadan Soccer Lords is to ensure that the Club monitor the 13 year old boy and incorporate him into the Shooting Stars family.

 The FA Secretary, in his words said :Permit me to welcome everyone on behalf of Oyo State Football  Association under the able and amiable Chairman, His Royal Higness, Oba Oluyemi James Odeniran. I am the Secretary, Ojelowo Adebayo. In our midst today, we have the Chairman, Shooting Stars Football Club in person of Right Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan (Akoro) and the Administrative Secretary of the Club,Alhaji Rahman Olapade.We have the boy,the beneficiary,Adeniran David and his father, Mr Adeniran Richard. We will at this juncture say that the Chairman Shooting Stars Boss will present a cheque of One Hundred Thousand Naira (#100,000.00) given by Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Foundation to help the talented football lad . 

On his part, Chairman,Oyo FA,Oba Alakinyele of Akinyele, HRM James Odeniran hinted that Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi is the immediate First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and the Chairman, Lagos State Football Association.
"On behalf of the entire Management and staff of Oyo State Football Association, I want to thank Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi for what is doing in Nigeria, particularly in the life of the youths. He is a friend of the youths. His untiring financial commitments to athletes on scholarship, hoping that they become great ambassadors of the game".

 He thereafter urged the 3SC Boss to look into the bundle of talents deposited in the boy and explore it to make him a good ambassador of the game.

On the presentation proper, the Chairman, Shooting Stars Sports Club, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro expressed delight for the invitation and assured that the boy would be closely monitored, nurtured and included in the Shooting Stars La Liga team. "On behalf of the Oyo State FA, I like to present a cheque of one hundred thousand naira (#100,000) to Adeniran Daniel, courtesy of Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Foundation. I want to assure the State FA that this boy would be closely monitored , nurtured and if he inspires, he would be included in the Shooting Stars La Liga team ". The former Deputy Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly submitted. 

Appreciating the donour and Oyo F.A, the father of the football prodigy, Mr Adeniran Richard thanked the Oyo FA for their fatherly role played in the life of his Child and prayed for  Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi to continue to enjoy God's blessings in his endeavours.  "I thank the Oyo FA for the role played in the life of my child for this opportunity and I pray the Almighty God will continue to give more grace to Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi in all his endeavours, amen.


From the recipient,  Adeniran Daniel, in his words: I'm so happy for the award given to me and I thank the Almighty God. I'm a 13 year old boy presently in SS1. I want to be a professional footballer and I thank Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi who has done well to put me on the right footing. I also want to thank him for the opportunity given to me to prove my talent to the world. May the Almighty God continue to bless him,amen."
