SACF: "Out Of 200 Students, 26 have graduated with a minimum of Second Class Upper...Seyi Akinwunmi

The immediate past First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi has expressed joy over the performance of some of his kids under his Charity Foundation for their sterling performance at higher institutions of learning
The Lagos State Football Association helmsman who will be 60 in few days(December 29th) also rewarded another 60 indigent kids with educational scholarships on Friday at Mobolaji Johnson Arena Onikan Stadium
Addressing journalists on Friday, the Legal luminary said it is time to be thankful to God for the life changing drive he brought to the kids and it's yielding positive result in the life of the children
"I'm very grateful to Almighty God who gave me the enablement to continue touching these kids. I'm very impressed with their performance at various institutions of learning. Their lifes have really changed and it's showing with the way they relate with people. The education has shapen their behaviour and this will certainly give them directions. Recently, out of 200 kids in different institutions, 26 of them have graduated with a minimum of second class Upper. I'm very grateful for this testimony and it's time to give thanks to the Almighty God. I'm doing this to allow them remain in school and that gives joy".
The Foundation usually organizes a Mini tournament event initiated by the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) to thrill spectators and pick those brilliant but indigent kids amongst them. This year’s event is the ninth edition and tagged The 60 For 60 Edition. The scholarship will help the kids to remain in school by supporting their education and related needs.
